The next step in the Digital
Workflow process is to produce
images. There are options in the software to send your image files to
your lab via CD or FTP, deliver them electronically, or print them internally. You may move your production orders through different statuses
at this stage, Order Entered,
Sent to
Lab, Order
Received from
Lab, etc.
Delivering images electronically – Do you deliver images to your clients electronically for download? Spectra and Stratus Desktop can simplify that process using your Stratus Drive online storage (included with your software). See Electronic Delivery and for more information.
Printing
your images internally – Your studio may do its own production
and printing. See the Printing Workflow section for more information.

Once you have created a production order and
completed retouching and rendering the images, you are ready to send them to
your lab. See also: Creating a Production Order, Retouching Images, and Rendering Images -
Determine if your vendor prefers a CD or an FTP
— the software can create either one. -
