This article documents StudioPlus Spectra, our discontinued on-premise (locally installed) photography studio management software. It is retained for existing Spectra customers.
This page does not describe current StudioPlus products. Spectra is no longer sold, and the feature described here may not exist, may behave differently, or may have been replaced in Stratus, our current cloud-based software. Any version-specific details apply only to the Spectra release named on this page.

There are three main versions of Spectra — Express 
, Standard 
, and Professional 
. The Express version is less complex and may just have the features that you want. Spectra Standard has a few more features, and the Professional version has the complete list of features available.
StudioPlus also offers two additional Spectra products, designed for specific studio operations — OnLocation – Depreciated 2023 
and Enterprise – Depreciated for Access 2023 
. Spectra OnLocation (available only as an add-on to Spectra Professional) is designed for studios that need to capture images and data while away from the studio and then return to merge their data back together. Spectra Enterprise is designed for companies with more than one studio location.
